3.1.3.2. Edit Existing Account Record.
Edit Customer Account Record
 Search Text
Type the text to search for in this dialog. Customer records are stored by email address. All or part of an email address will return record results if they exist. You MUST have added a customer account record previously in order to search for and find a customer account record. Customer account records are specific to your store whereas general customer records are not. Information such as login and password, customer shipping addresses and other customer information are stored in the partstore.online platform and accessible by the customer irrespective of what dealer store they are utilizing. Customer account records allows you to associate information related to a customer that is visible to ad utilized by ONLY your dealer store for any specific customer.

 Search
After you have entered search text in the Search Text area click the Search button to search for Customer Account Records.

 Reset
To reset the search click the Reset button.
|
|
 Edit
Click the Edit button to edit the customer account record. For assistance editing Customer account records please see the help topic for Add New Account Record where all customer account record field values are explained.

 Delete
Click the Delete button to delete the store specific customer account record for a specific email address. This cannot be undeleted.

This option is used to edit an existing Customer record that has been added using the
Add New Account Record functionality.
The next time the customer interacts with your store either directly or through a Manufacturers parts catalog the stored Customer Account Record values will be used.
